The "National Special Protective Clothing Testing Instrument Research Center of the China Textile Engineering Society" has successfully developed five major series and over forty types of intelligent textile-specific instruments in recent years, replacing a large number of imported products. More than ten projects such as "Research on Key Technologies for Comprehensive Wear Resistance Testing of Yarn and Fishing Lines and Development of Related Instruments" have won the third prize for scientific and technological progress of the China Textile Industry Association in recent years.
The "Key Laboratory of Special Textile Processing Technology in Shandong Province" has, by adopting new technologies and new processes, developed and researched numerous projects such as "Research on the Application of Biodegradable Bamboo Charcoal Regenerated Cellulose Fibers and the Development of Functional Ecological Textiles", and these projects have won the provincial science and technology progress awards of second and third levels in recent years.
The "Shandong Provincial Textile Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center" possesses strong technical capabilities and has over 100 sets of various textile testing and analysis instruments. It has passed the qualification certification of the Shandong Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau and the accreditation of the National Laboratory Accreditation Committee. It undertakes the testing of cotton, wool, linen, chemical fibers, including yarns, plain fabrics, dyed fabrics, knitted fabrics, reproduction fabrics, decorative fabrics, printing and dyeing products, and clothing, as well as the routine tests for fire resistance, anti-static, hygiene and antibacterial treatment, waterproofing, and breathability of special wearing performance tests. The testing items cover 169 items. It provides technical services for scientific and technological appraisals, new product development, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of textile products.
The "Shandong Province Textile Industry Productivity Promotion Center" provides comprehensive services for the technological progress of small and medium-sized enterprises. The center has an editorial department for "Shandong Textile Technology", which is published bi-monthly and distributed nationwide. It has played a significant role in providing technical consultation and facilitating experience exchange within the textile industry.
