Research on the Flammability Test Instrument for Aviation Interior Materials: Through Identification

On November 28, 2010, the Science and Technology Bureau of Qingdao City organized an achievement appraisal meeting for the "Research on the Flame Retardant Performance Testing Instrument for Aviation Interior Materials" project, which was completed by the Shandong Textile Science Research Institute. The experts present listened to the work report, technical report, novelty report and user feedback presented by the project team. Through on-site observation, questioning, answering and careful discussion, the following appraisal opinions were formed: 
After the review team carefully examined the provided identification materials, they unanimously agreed that: the provided materials are complete, accurate, and the data is reliable, meeting the requirements for the identification. 
2. This instrument is applicable for evaluating the horizontal combustion properties of aircraft interior materials. The applicable standard is: BSS 7230 "Determination of Flammability Properties of Aircraft Materials - F1 Vertical Test (60-second Ignition)". 
3. This project has filled the domestic gap and has a wide range of applications, with considerable market potential. The overall performance has reached a relatively high level among similar instruments.
