Recently, the project "Development of Electrostatic Charge Tester" jointly developed by Shandong Provincial Textile Science Research Institute and Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Special Textile Processing Technology has won the Excellent Award for Scientific and Technological Achievements of China Textile Industry Association.

The awarded project "Development of Electrostatic Charge Tester" is a 2018 technology guidance project of the China Textile Industry Association. The project number is 2018075. This project is used to measure the electrostatic attenuation performance of anti-static clothing materials. Wearing anti-static clothing is to prevent the accumulation of static charges on the clothing, and it is suitable for use in places with high sensitivity to static electricity. The electrostatic attenuation performance is one of the key requirements of the series of tests for protective clothing electrostatic performance. This project is a static charge attenuation testing device developed using the induced effect charging method, in accordance with the EN 1149-3-2004 "Test Methods for Electrostatic Performance of Protective Clothing - Measurement of Charge Attenuation" standard. The instrument developed for this project, "LFY-401E Static Charge Attenuation Tester", is a domestic first, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level.
