In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the production license for special labor protection equipment, the issuance and renewal of labor safety certificates, and the related work, it is necessary to accurately grasp the new regulations of the labor safety certificate implementation rules and the new standards. This will facilitate enterprises to successfully obtain production licenses and labor safety marks, and solve the problems related to certificate issuance and the operation of new equipment. On November 23rd to 24th, the National Textile Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center held the second training session on the renewal of the production license for special labor protection equipment (QS) and labor safety marks (LA), as well as the training on the new standards for protective clothing (anti-static clothing, flame-retardant clothing, acid and alkali clothing) and the operation of necessary instruments for protective clothing. The Instrument Research Institute of Shandong Textile Science and Technology Institute assisted in the explanation of the instruments.
This training course is the second one held since 2009. Special invited experts in the approval of protective clothing production licenses provided a detailed explanation on how to quickly, conveniently and smoothly obtain the production license for special labor protection equipment. They also elaborated on the implementation details, emphasized the newly added and modified contents, clarified the frequently occurring problems and key items. Moreover, a special explanation was given on the differences and distinctions between the national industrial product production licenses and the labor safety marks.
This training course discussed the development trends of protective clothing and also studied the new standards for anti-static suits, flame-retardant suits, and acid-base suits.
During the learning session on essential detection instruments, the trainees received training on the operation of the instruments, enabling them to master the basic knowledge and operation of the instruments. They were also evaluated and assessed, and those who passed the assessment were awarded an instrument operation qualification certificate. The main instruments learned from the Instrument Research Institute of Shandong Textile Science and Technology Institute included: LFY-201L electronic tensile testing machine, LFY-403 frictional charging charge testing instrument (static potential meter + Faraday cylinder), LFY-403A drum friction machine, LFY-406 point-to-point resistance testing instrument, LFY-601A vertical flame retardancy performance testing instrument, LFY-248 protective clothing liquid repellency efficiency testing instrument, LFY-249 protective clothing penetration time testing instrument, LFY-252 protective clothing liquid static pressure resistance testing instrument, LFY-607A thermal protection performance testing instrument, etc.
The participants of this training course include nearly 50 units such as provincial and municipal fiber inspection institutions, labor protection clothing testing centers, and labor protection clothing manufacturing enterprises.
