On the morning of June 7th, 2023, Comrade Yang Chengli, Secretary of the Scientific Research and Production Party Branch, gave a Party lecture titled "Promoting the In-depth Study and Implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era through the Unity of Knowledge and Action" to all Party members. Combining the current thematic education activities and the actual situation of the institute's restructuring and development, Secretary Yang required everyone to stay true to their original aspiration and keep in mind their mission from three aspects: "knowledge", "action" and "the unity of knowledge and action". The entire institute is like a single chess game, and all Party members must unite as one to form a strong synergy. In view of the current shortage of personnel, Party members should play an exemplary vanguard role and take the lead in stepping forward.

Knowledge is the starting point of action. To promote the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we must adhere to enhancing the cognitive and emotional identification with the Party's innovative theories as the foundation and premise; action is the fulfillment of knowledge. To promote the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we must adhere to advancing the development of the Party and the country's cause as the fundamental goal; the unity of knowledge and action is the key. To promote the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we must adhere to the two-way promotion of knowledge guiding action and action deepening knowledge.
After the lecture, everyone freely expressed their thoughts and experiences in combination with their own work.
Finally, Comrade Zhang Chunxing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the institute, highly praised the Party lecture, believing that the theme "the unity of knowledge and action" was appropriately chosen, and the content was closely integrated with the current actual work of the institute, which would surely play a significant role in promoting the institute's further development.
