In accordance with the requirements of Shandong State-owned Assets Investment Holding Co., Ltd.'s "Notice on Carrying Out the 'Three Ones' Activities for Party Spirit Education" and combined with the implementation plan of the thematic education of our institute, to thoroughly understand the development history of the Chinese People's Navy, cherish the struggle history, and stimulate the feelings of love for the Party and the country, on May 11th, the Scientific Research and Production Party Branch and the Comprehensive Function Party Branch of Shandong Textile Research Institute jointly carried out a themed Party Day activity. All Party members, cadres and employees of the institute went to the Chinese Naval Museum collectively. Through on-site thematic teaching, they consolidated their ideals and beliefs to lay a solid foundation and tempered their character to strengthen loyalty.
Entering the general preface hall of the museum, facing the solemn naval statues, everyone watched the documentary "Marching Towards Maritime Power" together, and carefully reviewed the extraordinary years when the People's Navy was born in artillery fire, grew up in battles, and developed and expanded in progress. Then, under the guidance of the commentator, everyone visited the thematic exhibition halls such as "The Period of Socialist Revolution and Construction", "The New Period of Reform and Opening-up and Socialist Modernization Drive", and "The New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" in turn.
Marching Towards Maritime Power
Walking out of the indoor exhibition area, everyone boarded the visitable warships, observed the equipment displays up close, and looked into the vast sea in the distance. They visited naval weapons and equipment and realized the glory and strength of the People's Navy.
This themed Party Day activity launched a spiritual journey of remembering history and looking forward to the future, allowing everyone to jointly appreciate the historical journey of the People's Navy from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong, cutting through waves all the way, navigating the thousands of miles of maritime territory, and bravely venturing into the open seas and oceans. Historic achievements have been made in all aspects such as national defense and military construction in the past ten years of the new era. Everyone said that as Communist Party members in the new era, they must consciously take the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress as guidance, stay true to their original aspiration, keep in mind their mission, continue to work together for the development of various causes of the Party and the country, and forge ahead courageously.
