Automatic Friction Charge Surface Density Tester for Textiles
The method for testing the surface charge density of textiles is the most fundamental and widely applied testing method. This method is applicable to textiles containing conductive fibers. The test is conducted through manual friction charging. Due to manual operation, there are many factors that affect the test results. GB/T 12703.2-2021, JIS L 1094 2014, and ISO 18080-3-2015 are the testing methods for the surface charge density of textiles. The textile automatic friction charge surface density tester integrates the automatic friction device and the static charge quantity test.

The main purpose of the textile automatic friction charge surface density tester is to conduct tests on the surface charge density of textiles using a mechanical device instead of manual friction charging, thereby avoiding the influence on the test results due to inconsistent manual friction pressure.
Features of the textile automatic friction charge surface density tester instrument:
1. Friction force: According to the standards GB/T 12703.2-2021 and ISO 18080-3-2015, the pressure applied by the friction rods is 40N, and the total weight of the friction rods is 4.08kg.
2. Friction times can be controlled. When the counting times reach the set number, the counter controls the motor to stop and emits a beeping signal. The operator immediately holds the insulating rod and peels off the sample, placing it into the Faraday cylinder.
3. Friction speed can be adjusted. It is impossible for humans to precisely control the speed of the friction rods. The LFY-403C automatic friction charge quantity tester can precisely adjust the speed to 1 time per second.
4. The movement trajectory of the friction rods simulates the manual friction action.
Main technical indicators of the textile automatic friction charge surface density tester:
1. Friction rod friction speed: 1 time per second (friction speed adjustable);
2. Friction times: 1 to 999 times can be set arbitrarily;
3. The friction rods are driven mechanically in a single direction and automatically lift back during the return stroke;
4. Friction rod material: hard vinyl tube. Outer diameter (32 ± 0.2) mm, thickness (3.1 ± 0.2) mm, length (400 ± 1) mm;
5. Friction force: 40N (weight of the砝码 4.08kg);
6. Effective friction distance: 250mm;
7. Base plate: wooden 320mm × 450mm;
8. Insulating rod material: acrylic resin. Diameter 20mm, length 500mm.
9. Charge quantity measurement range: 0 to ±9.999μC, measurement accuracy: ±0.001μC
