1. Prepare the samples: Conduct the test using 5 samples.
2. Place the prepared sample on the movable chuck of the instrument and secure it.
3. Connect the power supply of the instrument, turn on the power switch, and press the "Start Test" button. The instrument will start working. Adjust the gas flow rate for the test to 8L/min. The diameter of the sample testing area is 25mm and the test area is 4.9cm². The pressure difference shown in the record table is in units of Pa.
4. After the test is completed, press "Test Stop" and the instrument will stop working. Pull back the movable chuck and remove the sample.
5. Repeat steps 2.3 and 4. Calculate the average of the pressure difference values measured for the 5 samples. The resulting value, PM, is the average pressure difference of the test samples, measured in Pascals (Pa). The gas exchange pressure difference between the two sides of the sample is calculated using the formula ΔP = PM / 4.9. The result is reported as the pressure difference per square centimeter. ΔP should not exceed 49 Pa.
