Contact wound dressing test method: Bacterial resistance

Dry state with low moisture content
The condition where neither side of the dressing is wet. In this state, the wound surface has no exudate or only a very small amount of exudate, while the outer surface of the dressing is in a dry state.
Note: If a dressing does not claim to be water-resistant, it is considered that the outer surface is in a dry state.
Semi-wet state
One side of the dressing is wet. In this state, the wound surface has exudate seeping out, while the outer surface of the dressing is in a dry state, that is, "outer dry and inner wet"; or, the wound surface has no exudate or only a very small amount of exudate, and the outer surface of the dressing is expected to be in a moist state, that is, "outer wet and inner dry".
Note: If a dressing does not claim to be water-resistant, it is considered that the outer surface is in a dry state; if a dressing claims to be water-resistant, it is considered that the outer surface is in a moist state.
Wet state
Both sides of the dressing are wet. In this state, the wound surface has exudate seeping out, and the outer surface of the dressing is expected to be in a moist state.
Note: If a dressing claims to be water-resistant, it is considered that the outer surface is in a moist state. 
Dry-state bacterial barrier test device: The challenge chamber is used to hold the challenge inoculum, and the sampling chamber is used for sampling. Before the test, the test device is sterilized in accordance with the confirmed sterilization procedure for standby.
Semi-wet (outer dry, inner wet) bacterial barrier test device: The challenge chamber is used to hold the challenge inoculum, and the sampling chamber is used to hold the nutrient broth culture medium. Before the test, the test device is sterilized in accordance with the confirmed sterilization procedure for standby.
Semi-wet (outer wet, inner dry) bacterial barrier test device: The challenge chamber is used to hold the challenge bacterial solution, and the sampling chamber is used for sampling. Before the test, the test device is sterilized in accordance with the confirmed sterilization procedure for standby. 
The LFY-721 antibacterial testing device is used for evaluating the antibacterial performance of contact wound dressings with antibacterial properties. It can conduct tests using four methods: dry-state antibacterial, semi-wet-state (outer dry and inner wet), semi-wet-state (outer wet and inner dry), and wet-state antibacterial.
