On November 25th, the China Textile Industry Federation held a grand "Textile Light" 2014 Annual Science and Education Award Conference of the China Textile Industry Federation at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Leaders from various departments and professional associations of the China Textile Industry Federation, local industry associations' leaders, members of the China Textile Industry Federation's Award Committee, as well as the scientific and technological workers, entrepreneurs, university teachers and students honored at this conference, and numerous media guests, totaling over 300 people, attended the award ceremony. The conference was chaired by Gao Yong, the chairman of the Textile Light Science and Education Foundation.
The two projects, "Research on Key Technologies for Resistance to Contact Heat Test of Protective Materials and Development of Related Instruments" and "Research on Key Technologies for Leather Air Permeability and Water Resistance Testing and Development of Related Instruments" developed by the Shandong Provincial Textile Science Research Institute, respectively won the third prize for scientific and technological progress of the China Textile Industry Association.
