LFY-215C Towel Absorbency Tester

Main purpose

The towel water absorption tester is used to measure the water absorption capacity of various woven towel products made from textile fibers. 
Main technical specifications:
1. Circular card ring: Diameter 150mm.
2. L-shaped water pipe: 50mL of water can be drained within 8 seconds.
3. Constant temperature water tank: (20 ± 2)℃. 
Operation steps 
1. Connect all the connecting wires between the main unit and the constant temperature water tank. Add sufficient amount of grade 3 water to the water tank, turn on the power of the main unit, and the constant temperature water tank will start working.
2. Method A: Add 800 mL of grade 3 water to the stainless steel box used for the Method A test. Place it on the sliding track of the large water tank. The water level in the large water tank should not be higher than the upper edge of the box. When the temperature gauge shows the temperature to be constant at the set value, the experiment can begin. Place the towel sample flat on the net, slowly lower it onto the water surface, and simultaneously press the "timer" button to start timing. When the sample is completely soaked, press the "timer" button again to stop the timing, and record the required time. Press the "zero reset" button to clear the display. Calculate the average of the actual measurements of the 6 samples. 
3. Method B: Pour 50 mL (21 ± 1) °C deionized water into the funnel. Open the valve to pre-wet the pipeline, then dry the tabletop, tray and collar.
4. Weigh the tray before the test and record the mass m.
5. Prepare the sample according to the standard. Place the sample flatly on the steel ring using the collar, tighten the butterfly nut, and place it on the two fixed columns on the base panel.
6. Measure 50 mL of deionized water and pour it into the funnel. Switch the electromagnetic valve to the "start" position and open the valve. Start timing when the water flow is complete. After (25 ± 5) seconds, remove the water collection tray and weigh the mass m1. After stopping the timer, press the "zero reset" button to clear the timer.
