Main purpose
This test is applicable to protective clothing materials and gloves, etc. It examines the ability of the materials to resist the penetration of chemical liquids under specific time and pressure conditions, and checks the penetration of liquids on the materials.
Technical indicators
The instrument continuously applies pressure to the sample using an air pressure source, and is not restricted by the space of the testing site (the pressurizing medium used is compressed air).
2. The instrument is equipped with a pressure gauge to display the pressurization pressure. The pressurization pressure can be adjusted, and the rate of pressure reduction should be less than 3.5 kPa/s.
3. Special stainless steel test device and discharge valve are available, suitable for 40% sodium hydroxide at 20°C, 36% hydrochloric acid at 20°C, 37% sulfuric acid at 20°C, 50% toluene at 20°C, 50% isooctane at 20°C, or other chemical liquids.
4. The instrument is equipped with a clamp that can generate a torque of 13.6 Nm.
5. Pressure test points: 0 kPa, 6.9 kPa, 7 kPa, 13.8 kPa, 14 kPa, 21 kPa, 28 kPa, 35 kPa;
6. The digital timer is adjustable and has an accuracy of ±0.01 seconds.
7. Sample size: 75mm × 75mm.
8. Test environment: Temperature 20 ± 2℃, Relative humidity 30% - 80%.
9. Power Supply: AC 220V, 50Hz.
