LFY-205E Nonwoven Fabric Thickness Tester (ISO 9073)

Main purpose
It is suitable for measuring the thickness of various non-woven fabrics under specific pressure. It can be used by the non-woven fabric industry, inspection departments and research institutions. For thickness measurements below 20mm, a balance-type non-woven fabric thickness tester is used; for thickness measurements above 20mm, a needle-tip type non-woven fabric thickness tester is employed.

2. Reference plate diameter: ≥ (pressing foot diameter + 50) mm;

4. Pressurization pressure: 0.1 kPa, 0.5 kPa; 
5. Pressurization time: 10 seconds; 
6. Timing device: Stopwatch. 
Non-woven fabric with thickness ≤ 20mm and large compression amount: Balance-type non-woven fabric thickness tester 
Foot press area: 2500 mm²;

3. It is equipped with a sample clamping device that can vertically suspend the sample between the press foot and the reference plate. 
4. Elbow-shaped lever provides pressure: 0.02 kPa; 
5. Counterweight: (2.05 ± 0.05) g; 
6. Pressing screw: Capable of adjusting the position of the pressing foot. 
7. Pressurization time: 10 seconds; 
8. Balance reference monitoring: 0.01mm;

Non-woven fabric with thickness over 20mm and large compression amount: Needle-point type non-woven fabric thickness tester 
Horizontal substrate: 300mm × 300mm; 
2. Measuring the pressure plate: (200 ± 0.2) mm × (200 ± 0.2) mm; 
3. Measuring the weight of the pressure plate: (82 ± 2) g; 
4. Measuring the thickness of the pressure plate: 0.7mm; 
5. Measured pressure applied by the pressure plate: 0.02 kPa; 
6. Timing device: Stopwatch.
