Main purpose
Under laboratory conditions, evaluate the static characteristics of fabrics after they become charged through friction, that is, test the surface charge density of the fabrics.
Instrument features
Using the specified friction materials to rub the sample, causing it to become charged, then measure the potential of the sample after it is inserted into the Faraday cylinder, and convert it into the charge quantity per unit area.
1. The measurement device consists of a friction device and a potential measurement device.
2. The friction device includes a friction rod, a pad, a pad base, and an insulating rod.
3. The potential measurement device consists of a Faraday cylinder, a capacitor, and a voltmeter.

Technical indicators
1. Static charge measurement range: ±0.001μC - 9.999μC
2. The friction cloth is made of nylon or polyester, with a size of 400mm × 450mm
3. The samples are divided into three pieces in both the warp and weft directions, with a sample size of 250mm × 350mm
