LFY-407A Carpet Electrostatic Tester

Main purpose 
It is mainly used for the detection of static electricity prevention in flooring materials such as carpets. It can be used by carpet manufacturers, carpet fiber manufacturers, textile (carpet) inspection institutions, the aviation and automotive interior industries, and research institutions for quality inspection and technical evaluation. 
Principle of the Experiment 
When a person is a) on the inspected carpet, b) wearing the shoes specified by the standard, c) walking in the prescribed manner, and d) in the monitored atmospheric conditions, the potential difference (0 potential) relative to the ground voltage generated during the walking process is measured, and this is used to evaluate the degree of danger of discomfort caused by electrostatic charges and electric shocks when people use this carpet. 
We use the electrostatic potential difference between the human body and the ground to characterize human static electricity. The testers, wearing the test shoes specified by the standard and walking in the prescribed manner on the inspected carpet (flooring material), walk in a controlled atmospheric environment. At this time, measuring the electrostatic potential of the human body actually reflects the electrostatic characteristics of the equal amount of opposite charges on the carpet.

1. Grounding metal base plate: (100×200) cm, 1mm thick aluminum plate; 
2. Rubber pad: (220 × 120) cm, thickness (4.5 ± 0.5) mm; 
3. The input resistance of the voltmeter and the handheld electrode system is ≥ 10^14 Ω; 
4. The input capacitance of the handheld electrode is ≤ 20 pF; 
5. Voltage measurement range: (-20 to +20) kV, with an accuracy of 0.1 kV; 
6. Test duration: 60 seconds 
7. Atmospheric conditions for adjustment and testing: Temperature: (23 ± 1) °C, Humidity: (25 ± 3)%RH
