LFY-406Z Vertical Resistance Tester for Materials

Main purpose

This instrument can be used to measure the surface specific resistance and vertical resistance of various fabrics, films, and other insulating materials. The magnitude of the resistance can indirectly reflect the length of time for static electricity leakage from the surface of the test material, thus indicating the electrostatic charging performance of the test material.

Instrument characteristics

This instrument employs the three-electrode method for sample testing. Its testing setup primarily consists of a flat-plate electrode device and a high resistance meter. The fundamental principle involves applying DC voltages of varying levels to the sample. The minute current flowing through the sample is sampled and amplified by a standard resistor, and then read from the high resistance meter. The digital display directly shows the resistance value, offering high accuracy, rapid display, good stability, and convenient reading.

1. Adopt a highly integrated 3 1/2-digit display.

2. Measurement range: 1×10⁵Ω to 9.999×10¹⁴Ω

3. The built-in test voltage is switchable between DC 50V, DC 100V, DC 250V, and DC 500V

4. Timer: 0.01~99.99 seconds or set in minutes or hours;

5. Operating environment temperature: (20±2)℃, humidity: (35±10) %RH

6. The zero drift of the instrument is less than ±5% between 1-8 hours when operating at a stable voltage and with no signal input

7. Basic error of the instrument in measuring standard resistance: (1×10⁵Ω to 1×10¹⁰) ≤ ±5%; for values greater than 1×10¹⁰, ≤ ±20%;

8. Includes a set of electrodes, a standard resistance box, an insulating plate, and a metal plate.
