LFY-401D Fabric Inductive Static Electricity Tester

Main application
This instrument is suitable for measuring the static properties of fibers, yarns, fabrics, carpets, decorative fabrics and other types of fabrics or various plate-shaped products under laboratory conditions. The main unit of the instrument consists of a corona discharge device and a probe detector. Using the given high-voltage electric field, the fabric is discharged at a certain time to induce static electricity, thereby detecting the magnitude of static electricity charge, the half-life of static voltage attenuation, and the residual static electricity. This allows the display of the static charging performance of the tested fabric. The instrument is equipped with a constant temperature and humidity chamber, providing suitable temperature and humidity conditions for static tests. 
Instrument Characteristics
1. The severity of fabric charging is determined, on the one hand, by the level of static voltage generated after high-voltage discharge, and on the other hand, by the duration of this static voltage. The rate at which static electricity on the fabric dissipates is expressed by the static half-life, which is an important assessment indicator for testing the static properties of the fabric. 
2. The instrument consists of a main unit and a computer detection system. It can be tested using either the timing method or the pressure holding method. 
3. The instrument uses a computer system to directly display the instantaneous peak value and half-life value of the fabric during high-voltage discharge. 
4. Real-time display of the curve showing the variation of voltage over time. 
5. Automatically shut down high voltage and automatically stop the motor. The operation is very convenient. 
6. The instrument is equipped with functions of heating, cooling, humidification, dehumidification and timing. 
7. Temperature and humidity can be set as needed on the instrument panel.

2. The time limit for half-life range is from 0 to 99.99 hours. 
3. Rotation speed of the turntable: 1500 revolutions per minute 
4. Discharge time: 0 - 99.99 seconds (The test is conducted at (30 ± 0.1) seconds)
5. Discharge distance between the needle-shaped electrode and the sample: 20mm

11. Before the instrument was put into use, static voltage measurement corrections had already been carried out. 
12. Before use, please check as required. The oil cylinder inside the main unit must be fully filled with oil (transformer oil).
