Main purpose:

Under laboratory conditions, the electrostatic properties of the sample after being charged by friction are evaluated, that is, the surface charge density of the sample is measured.
Instrument characteristics:
Apply the specified friction material to the sample, causing it to become charged. Then, measure the voltage of the sample after it is inserted into the Faraday cylinder, and convert it into the charge per unit area.
1. The testing device consists of a friction device and a voltage measurement device; it includes: voltmeter, Faraday cylinder, capacitor, insulating support, friction rod, pad, base, insulating rod, and 40N pressure device.
2. Voltage measurement range: ±(10mV - 10V), accuracy: ±5%.
3. Capacitance: 0.1μF, Relative tolerance: ±2%.
4. Faraday cylinder: Outer cylinder diameter and height: 500 × 1000 mm, Inner cylinder diameter and height: 400 × 800 mm.
5. The friction device complies with the technical requirements of standard GB/T 12703.2-2021.
Applicable standards

GB/T 12703.2-2021 Test Methods for Static Electricity Properties of Textiles - Part 2: Manual Friction Method
FZ/T 64082-2021 Base Cloth for Filter Materials
GB/T 6719-2009 Technical Requirements for Bag-type Dust Collectors
