Main application
This instrument is suitable for measuring the specific optical density produced by materials when exposed to radiation or combustion under specified test conditions. The specific optical density is calculated based on the transmittance measured in the specified test chamber volume, optical path length, and test area. The maximum optical density value is used to represent the optical density of the material.

3. Measurement accuracy of transmittance: less than ±3% of the maximum reading within each scale range;

6. Fuel: 95% or more propane, flow rate 50 cm3/min, air input volume 500 cm3/min;
