Main application
It is used to measure the heat radiation protection performance of single or multiple layers of fabrics in high-temperature environments, and can also be used to test the heat insulation performance of other fireproof and flame-retardant materials. Heat radiation protection performance is an important performance indicator of fireproof products. Accurate measurement of its protective performance has significant guiding significance for material selection, research and development of new products, and improvement of processing techniques. This instrument fills the domestic gap.
Instrument features
According to the ISO 6942-2002 (EN366) standard, the protective performance of materials can be tested by two testing methods. The first method (Method A) is that the sample is exposed to a certain amount of heat radiation. To reproduce the harsh conditions of the material, changes in appearance are recorded. The second method (Method B) is to place the calorimeter on the back of the sample, and the heat conducts from the back of the sample, and the trend of temperature changes over time is recorded to determine the level of heat radiation transfer.

Main technical indicators

1. Heating power of silicon carbide rods: 6.5kW/220V/50Hz, heating part length: 178mm, diameter: 8mm;
2. Test range of heat source heat flux density: 5kW/m2 to 80kW/m2 (test points: 5kW/m2, 10kW/m2, 20kW/m2, 40kW/m2, 80kW/m2); 
3. Temperature control of heat radiation source: Room temperature to 1200℃ ± 5℃ (display accuracy: 1℃); 
4. Thermal radiation source temperature sensor: Thermocouple (0 - 1600℃);
5. Thermal radiation source temperature controller: Equipped with PID intelligent regulating controller;
6. Calorimeter heat capacity: Measured value is approximately 480.937 J/K, with a heating area of (50×50) mm²;
7. Calorimeter temperature measurement range: Room temperature to 80℃; Temperature sensor: Pt100 platinum resistance (-200 - 450℃);
8. Operating platform: Chinese Windows xp operating system, data output: t1, t2, t3, qc, TF and their average values;
9. Circulating water pump: HQB-3900/100W/220V/50Hz;
10. Air source: Miniature air compressor, power 1/4HP, 220V/50Hz;
11. Test environment: Between 15℃ and 35℃, there should be no air circulation indoors.
