LFY-607D Fabric Radiation Heat Tester (RPP)
Main purpose
It is used to conduct tests on the radiation heat resistance and radiation heat performance of single-layer and multi-layer materials under a continuous and constant radiant heat source. Through a test with controllable radiation heat flow and duration, the radiation heat protection performance of clothing materials can be objectively and quantitatively evaluated.
Technical indicators and performance parameters
1. The basic components of the instrument include: a vertically placed radiant heat source, a sample holding assembly, an air-powered water-cooled plate, a heat sensor, and a set of data acquisition/burn analysis system.
2. The radiation heat source of the instrument is an infrared quartz lamp, which has an emission length of 127mm and an average total length of 222mm. The input power can be controlled.
3. The voltage meter of the instrument has an accuracy of ±1V.
4. The sensor of the instrument is a circular copper sheet thermal flowmeter with a diameter of 4 ± 0.05 cm. The temperature measurement range is from 0°C to 1600°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C.
5. The instrument can provide at least two radiation heat exposure conditions, namely 21 kW/m2 and 84 kW/m2, with an accuracy of ±2%. It can also monitor the reading of the voltmeter to control the heat exposure level during the testing process.
6. The instrument is equipped with a data acquisition/burn analysis system that can record the temperature response of the calorimeter, calculate the cumulative radiation heat exposure of the sample, and determine the end time of the test by comparing the cumulative heat energy over time with the experimental performance curve. It can also measure the thermal protection characteristics of flame-retardant textile materials that have undergone standard radiation heat exposure, relative to a predicted second-degree skin burn.
7. The data acquisition component of the instrument has a minimum sampling rate of 4 samples per second at 250°C, with a minimum temperature resolution of 0.1°C and an accuracy of ±0.75°C. It is capable of correcting cold junctions and converting millivolt thermocouple signals into temperature values.
8. The instrument uses a 12-bit high-speed A/D converter to sample the sensor, ensuring high sampling accuracy and fast speed.
9. The instrument is equipped with features such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection, abnormal protection for the actuator, and protection against communication interruption.
10. The instrument has a function for alarming in case of sensor failure.
11. The measurement accuracy of radiant heat flux is ±3%.
12. All the pipelines inside the test chamber are protected by high-temperature resistant and flame-retardant pipes.
13. The fume hood is designed in an integrated manner with the main body of the instrument. It is equipped with an exhaust function, which can promptly discharge the smoke and waste gas generated during the testing process.
