Main purposes: 
The LFY-607B thermal protection performance tester is used to measure the thermal insulation performance of flame-retardant protective clothing fabrics, fire protection clothing fabrics, flame-retardant insulation materials, fire boots, fire helmets, fire respirators, fire gloves, etc. when they are exposed to radiant heat sources and convective heat sources. Specifically, it measures the thermal protection performance values (TPP), thermal protection performance assessment (TPE), and anti-radiation penetration performance. This instrument is applicable for testing single-layer or multi-layer flame-retardant materials. 
Technical Specifications: 
1. The irradiated area of the sample: 100 cm² ± 0.01 cm² 

2. Heat Source: 
(1) The radiation heat source uses a specially designed T-150 infrared tube (with a 5-socket lamp holder), and the integrated voltage regulation range is: 0 to 220V. 
(2) The radiation intensity from the convection heat source can be continuously adjusted at an angle of 45 degrees. The convection heat source uses a self-made large-diameter self-generated lamp and a high-voltage pulse igniter. 
(3) Adopt the RT18-63R rapid protection circuit; 
(4) The guard rail and sample holder are equipped with large-stroke rodless cylinders. The movement speed can be adjusted, and the response time is less than 2 seconds. 
(5) Automatic ignition with high-voltage pulse; 
(6) The air leakage protection device can automatically cut off the air path electromagnetic valve; 
3. Temperature measurement range of the calorimeter: 0°C to 85°C ± 0.1°C; The calorimeter uses a dedicated plug-in design, allowing for quick and convenient switching.

(2) Heat flux of convective heat source: 10 - 50 kW/m2 
(3) Total heat flux: Adjustable from 50 kW/m2 to 100 kW/m2 (in accordance with the standard requirement, it should be 83 kW/m2 ± 2 kW/m2). ,

6. Instrument Structure: 
(1) It adopts an integrated stainless steel cabinet, with a rounded arc-shaped test chamber door that has a large opening area and is equipped with cylinder support; it is internally equipped with a fireproof and high-temperature-resistant exhaust hood; the fume hood and the instrument are designed as an integrated unit, making the operation convenient. 
(2) The instrument is equipped with a computer, featuring a Chinese operation interface, a Chinese test program, and automatic data processing. The test results are automatically saved, can be queried, and the test results and test reports can be exported. It can automatically generate reaction curves and human tissue tolerance curves, with the time accuracy reaching 0.1 seconds. 
(3) The instrument is equipped with a dedicated cooling gas gun for sensor components. After each test, the gas gun is used to cool the sensor components, which results in rapid cooling and enhances the efficiency of conducting large-scale tests. 
(4) Motion range of the guardrail and sample holder: 450mm, response time ≤ 2 seconds. 
(5) Built-in fireproof and high-temperature resistant exhaust hood: 0.35A / 220AC; 
(6) Both the guard fence and the sample holder are driven by large-stroke rodless cylinders as the main driving components. They have a large transmission stroke, adjustable movement speed, and fast response, which improves the response speed of the instrument tests and reduces measurement errors. 
(7) The sensor is sampled using a 12-bit high-speed A/D converter, which offers high sampling accuracy and fast speed. 
(8) The components of the instrument that are close to the heat source are all cooled by water. This not only ensures the service life of the components but also avoids the influence of the heat source temperature on the experimental results, thereby improving the overall testing accuracy of the instrument.
