LFY-604D Flame Spread Testing Instrument

Main purpose/Use 
The Flame Spread Tester is a device that complies with ISO15025-2016 and is used to measure the limited flame spread performance of industrial products in the form of directional textile fabrics and single-component or multi-component fabrics (coatings, quilting, multi-layer, sandwich structures and similar combinations) under a small-scale flame. This test method is not applicable to materials that exhibit extensive melting or shrinking. 
Apply the pre-determined flame to the surface (surface ignition) or the bottom (edge ignition) of the vertically suspended sample. The application time is 10 seconds. Measure and observe the rate of flame propagation, the form of the dripping substances, whether the burning dripping substances form holes, afterglow, and the duration of re-ignition, and measure the length of the damage. Based on these, evaluate the flame retardant performance of the fabric.

Installation Requirements 
1. It is recommended that the equipment be placed on a workbench that is at least 70 cm high, with the tabletop size being larger than 120 cm by 65 cm. 
2. Open an exhaust vent with a diameter of more than 10 cm at a height of more than 140 cm from the center of the countertop. 
3. The equipment itself has no specific requirements for the environment. All that is needed is to adjust the temperature and humidity to the specified range when conducting each standard test.
