LFY-708 Moisture-Resistant Microbial Penetration Testing Instrument

Main application
It is used to measure the performance of materials in resisting the penetration of bacteria through liquids (the shielding performance of blocking the penetration of bacteria carried by liquids when subjected to mechanical friction); mainly used for medical surgical sheets, surgical gowns and clean suits, etc. Working principle
Place the specimen on a agar petri dish, place a piece of the same-sized culture plate on top of the specimen, then cover it with a thick high-density polyethylene film approximately 10 microns in thickness. Use a conical steel ring to secure the three layers (with the test material at the bottom, the culture plate in the center, and the high-density polyethylene film on top) together. Place this ring assembly on the agar petri dish on the turntable, and let the test probe act on the material in a way that it can move over the entire surface of the petri dish, applying pressure and friction to the material simultaneously to simulate the stress conditions and wet conditions that barrier materials may encounter during actual application and the penetration of microorganisms. After the microorganisms on the culture plate penetrate the test material, they will migrate to the surface of the agar medium. By culturing the agar petri dish and counting the colonies, the penetration performance of the test material can be quantitatively evaluated.
Instrument Features
1. The turntable rotates quietly and steadily, and the rotation time is automatically controlled by a timer.
2. The test probe is guided by the rotating outer wheel and can perform lateral reciprocating movement from the center of the rotating agar petri dish to the periphery.
3. The force applied by the test probe to the material can be adjusted.
4. All test components are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
