Main purpose/Use 
The water vapor permeability of leather refers to the ability of leather to allow water vapor to pass from the humid air to the less humid air. This property of leather contributes to the comfort of the wearer. The water vapor permeability and breathability of leather are commonly used to characterize the hygiene performance of the leather. Water vapor permeability and breathability are important indicators of the hygiene performance of the leather.
