LFY-249 Protective Clothing Penetration Time Tester
Main purpose
This is used to measure the acid and alkali resistance performance of breathable and non-breathable acid and alkali protective clothing, which is represented by the acid resistance penetration time t.
Working principle
Conductive method: Place the acid-resistant clothing sample flat between two metal electrodes. Drop the test solution on the sample and start timing. When the test solution passes through the sample, the circuit is connected, an electrical signal is emitted, and the time is recorded. The period from when the test solution is dropped onto the sample until the signal appears is called the acid resistance penetration time of this sample.
Indicator method: Place the sample flat on the bottom of the glass tube and secure it tightly. Inject the test solution from the upper end of the tube and start timing. When the test solution passes through the sample, the test paper below the sample will change color. The period from the start of injecting the test solution to the color change of the test paper is called the sample's acid resistance penetration time.
Technical indicators
Sample size: 100mm × 100mm
2. Test solution: 0.1 mL (for conductivity method) or 10 mm height (for indicator method). Prepare a 50 mL beaker by yourself.
3. Test conditions: Temperature: 17 - 30℃, Relative humidity: (65 ± 2)% RH
