LFY-245 Carpet Abrasion Tester

Main purpose/Use 
This instrument is used to test the wear resistance of carpets and is widely applied in the carpet quality control in the industrial sector. 
Instrument Characteristics 
1. Test a small sample of the carpet
2. Rapid test: Each sample takes half an hour
3. Weight loss test 
Testing method

The carpet sample was worn down by rubbing against the standard friction material. The sample and the friction material were fixed at both ends of two vertical rotating shafts, with the axes intersecting at right angles. The two shafts rotated in the same direction and at the same speed, ensuring that all parts of the sample maintained a constant relative speed.

Friction head pressure: 0.56 kg/cm² 
2. Test sample: Circular surface with a diameter of 38 mm 
3. Number of frictional operations: 5000 times 
4. Friction time: 30 minutes to 5 hours
